ITS A DETERRENT.THE BUGS DONT LIKE THE ODOR AND THEY KEEP AWAY. NICE TO HAVE FINALLY FOUND A PRODUCT THAT ISNT BAD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT.PRICE IS GOOD TO.PURCHASE TWO ITS WELL WORTH IT.

MQ7 offers an all natural, non-toxic Indoor/Outdoor Insect Control formulation that is safe enough to use around children and pets. Unlike other chemical based products containing Organophosphates, MQ7 can be applied as often as needed without the lingering ill effects of toxic residue. MQ7 is made from scientifically modified, highly concentrated cedar oil. Throughout history, cedar has been known to repel insects naturally and this is why today we are accustomed to the use of cedar products, such as closets, chests, and other cedar wood products. MQ7 will repel fleas, chiggers, mites, ants, mosquitoes, scorpions, grubs, flies, gnats, moths, no-see-ums, ticks, silverfish, carpet beetles, earwigs, crickets, spiders, firebrats, palmetto bugs and grasshoppers. For over 10 years, a team of scientists have contributed to the development of MQ7. We have identified the very few components within a specific cedar species that have the ultimate repellency property. We take those components and scientifically-modify the cedar oil to intensify these components to come up with our highly concentrated proprietary formulation of MQ7. MQ7 is a much safer alternative to other chemical based products containing Organophosphates. MQ7 works because of an insects' olfactory system's intense dislike for the smell of cedar. In our own test, we identified an ant hill with ants entering and exiting the ant hill. We sprayed the ant hill thoroughly with MQ7 Indoor/Outdoor Insect Control and walked away. We revisited the ant hill in 15-20 minutes and noticed no ant activity. All the ants vacated the ant hill.

(More customer reviews)This seems to work OK for where you spray it, but ONLY for where you spray it. That is, unless you're willing to coat every surface in (or out of) your home, it will only be marginally effective.

(More customer reviews)I tried this product because their ant and roach killer worked great on ants. Well this stuff does not work I have used it for 3 weeks and it has had no effect on the green little caterpillars eating all my herbs and vegetables even when spraying it directly on them. It did seem to work on aphids at least.
