I put one in each room (I used to have a lot of roaches, now I have none!) No horrible smelling exterminating fluid. I have recommended them to others and now thry happily use them. (More customer reviews)We used this product while camping and two feet away from the dispenser was my husband. Needless to say, he recieved four mosquito bites in less than a minute, by the same mosquito! I don't think this works very well. I would suggest the BUG BANDS instead. You wear them around your wrist or ankle and they are DEET FREE as well. The bug bands completely protected my family on a recent camping trip from insect bites. None of us recived any and we wore the wrist bands constantly.

Couple of those escaped again, when I opened the trap basket. So I'm not sure what is the purpose of this, only maybe you could use it in the patio...not in the open backyard.

(More customer reviews)We bought this unit at a discount warehouse after not being able to swim outside without being attacked by a mob of mosquitos. We have 1 acre across from a large body of water, plus a small wooded area near the house. We figured if it did not work we would return it as the reviews I read were mixed. We gave it a week, set it about 20-25 feet from the deck and pool areas. It has been very hot and muggy with most days an evening shower yet I have had maybe 1-2 bites. Granted we are not rolling in grass or running in the woods at night, nor do I sit out wearing perfume, but for enjoying the yard, it is great-compared to previously not being able to sit out at all! Followed the directions and it is working like it says. We've had it a month now.

But nothing worked. The first day I plugged this little device in, there was such a great increase in bug activity that my kids wouldn't go into the kitchen. By day 3, the roaches were GONE! I don't know where they went, and I don't care. This device saved my sanity.

I painted my apartment before i moved in and while i was painting i already notice roaches. I knew i was going to have a roach problem. The first week in my apartment there was a large amount of roaches in my sink and cabinets. Each time i turn on the lights 20 of them will scurry away. Since i have 2 cats, i did not want to fumigate my apartment. I look for a alternative approach to my roach problem and came across this product. I was very skeptical about this product, but hey for $20 why not give it a try.

The product state it takes about 3 to 4 weeks for it to be affective. The first week, i quickly saw a reduction in roaches, but i will still see 10 or so, which was unacceptable. Each week i will see less and less. Now it has been 4 weeks and i do not see any roaches in my kitchen. If you have a pest problem, this little device will do wonders. Try it for yourself.
