P3 International P7810 Cordless Motion Activated Animal Away Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Since using the Animal Away, we haven't had the problems of stray cats in our yard. :) Hooray!I'm happy to say that the Animal Away is 'bird friendly' and doesn't disturb the wildbirds that I feed. It does seem to require fresh batteries approximately every month, but as long as it keeps the strays away, I'm happy!

Product Description:
You love the furry little guys (some of them, anyway)... but there are places that are off limits. Animal Away keeps the animals at bay! The Mrs. says no dogs in the living room. And as for those pesky raccoons, nobody wants them in the garage! This tiny device uses powerful, high-pitched frequencies to deter critters from invading your space. Inaudible to humans, these sounds irritate animals, forcing them to move on. And unlike similar devices that emit constant sounds, Animal Away saves batteries with an infrared motion detector that activates the 23,000 Hz signal only when motion's detected within 45 feet! Indoor / outdoor use; Wireless operation powered by one 9V battery (not included) lets you position Animal Away wherever you need to; Easily mounts on walls, fences, even wooden stakes; Green housing blends in with most lawns; Impact-resistant, weatherproof construction; No harmful effects; Measures 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3 1/2", weighs 6 1/3" ozs. Into your kingdom, let no intruders pass! Say, "Come here!" to Animal Away by ordering it today! Animal Away

Havahart 5265 Spray Away Motion-Activated Water Repellent Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have three motion detecting sprinklers, two made by Contech (ScareCrow) and one by Havahart. Both of them are excellent for repelling deer (two years of experience with high deer pressure) but the Contech ScareCrow is more dependable. Although the Scarecrow sprinkler is more expensive, it is worth the price. The Havahart does not come with a guarantee other than a 30 day return policy whereas the Contech ScareCrow sprinkler has a two year warranty and they stand behind it. I had one fail after 22 months of use and they replaced it promptly. Also the motion detecting range, sensitivity, and adjustment is more stable and dependable in the Contech ScareCrow. The only time I've not had the ScareCrow work was during a period of very high humidity during some rainy weather when it failed to go off during a period of less than a day. On the other hand the Havahart motion sprinker is much more erratic in its performance and sometimes fails to work for brief periods.
